Being a journalist,  I prefer the candid environment, though, I do enjoy the freedom of creativity that comes with a portrait session.

As with all my work, I approach my portrait sessions with a plan of attack. I guarantee I've thought of shots to take before I even arrive to the shoot. However, I am absolutely open to suggestions. I will do everything I can to create a portrait that you will be happy with.

Be it a traditional portrait session or a image with deeper meaning, I find the foreground and the background to be just as important as the subject. Therefore, I prefer to shoot on-location, usually in an environment that synergizes with the story I'm telling or the image I'm creating.

While I only have a few categories posted here (and in the Other work tab,) that doesn't mean that's what I'm limited to. As I said, if it involves working with a camera, I'm interested in doing it.
